The HTC One Mini does justice to its name by offering most of the features of the flagship One handset in a smaller and cheaper package. To HTC's credit, the phone offers the same user experience and functionality of its big brother with some concessions being made on the internal hardware. It brings along the award-winning design of the HTC One , Android 4.2.2 Jelly, UltraPixel camera and a host of other features, which make it a fantastic choice in the mid-range smartphone market. Vine Jealous of Instagram?

Image
The Vine vs. Instagram Competition In the last week of June of this year, the network of Instagram and Facebook had a debut video that is controversially new. After which they made a showdown with Vine and Twitter for these two products are mostly similar but have key differences that set them apart and at each other's throats. These two apps are different in the following ways. Source : techcrunch.com The length of Instagram's video clips is fifteen seconds while vine is six seconds. The longer limit of time is supposed to ration a good longer portion of time to shoot videos as opposed to Vine's six seconds. This is good but according to the press it really depends if the film is either interesting or boring because if it is boring it’s quite pointless to have fifteen seconds of a shot of film.  Shooting the film is quite the same for these two apps but there is also a difference. With Vine you can touch anywhere on the screen and it will shoot. Wi

Five inches. It's a measurement that pretty much all Android flagships this year have attained as their screen size, from the mega-popular Samsung Galaxy S4 , waterproof Sony Xperia Z , budget Oppo Find 5, and even the HTC Butterfly (although not the One). This week, slides leaked that suggested that BlackBerry 's next big handset will also reach that impressive size. The phone's called the Blackberry A10 , and will reportedly be the first BlackBerry to include a five inch display, albeit it at a lesser 720p resolution than the Android phones we mentioned earlier. These quarterly statements are called budgets and they generally include simple tables made up of numbers. Creating a budget gives management the ability to monitor progress against the stated or budgeted figures and goals. Every major corporation on Earth prepares a budget every three months (each quarter), and uses it as a guide to help them meet quarterly earnings. Nokia EOS may be company's first quad-core phone

Image
Nokia has had a quiet year thus far, but on the back of financials reported yesterday the Finnish company is looking more and more likely to turn themselves around. While adoption in the United States has slowed as of late, one big new phone may be enough to reverse that trend: The Nokia EOS . The phone, which is still going by its codename but will likely eventually become the Nokia Lumia 1000, is set to be the first true PureView Lumia phone . The first PureView phone, the Nokia 808, ran the old Symbian operating system. The second PureView phone, the Lumia 920, added optical image stabilisation but negelected to include the full 41 megapixel sensor that made the 808 so powerful. Now, the Nokia EOS looks to combine both of these strengths into a single phone, with a 41 megapixel sensor, optical image stabilisation and variable aperture lens. This should make for the best camera ever found on a smartphone - a title that Nokia is sure to see translated into higher sales. T

Top 5 Nokia Lumia 920 accessories

Image
Good morning everyone! Today we're going to be looking at five of the best accessories available for Nokia's top of the line Windows Phone, the Lumia 920 . These accessories will extend the life and times of your phone, allowing you to get the most out of it. Let's get right into the selections. 5. Nokia Lumia 920 Case-Compatible Charging Dock This charging dock offers a few advantages over new-fangled wireless charging docks: it is cheaper and it works even when a case is in use. Considering the relatively large size of the Lumia 920, this is no small feat. The charging dock is in portrait orientation, marking it for use in writing messages and browsing the web instead of playing games or watching videos. 4. Case-Mate Tough Case for Nokia Lumia 920 The Lumia 920 is the thickest and heaviest of the current range of flagship phones across manufacturers and operating systems. That makes it durable to scratches, but also ensures that it hits the ground hard.

Nokia Lumia 950 Prototype Appears

Image
This weeks sees the release of the Nokia Lumia 520 and Lumia 720, but it also has shown us what could be the next top of the line Lumia: the Nokia Lumia 950 . The folks over at WPCentral have posted pictures of the purported handset, which looks like it could be the ultimate PureView phone we've been waiting for. The first thing you'll notice about the phone is that it's much boxier than we've seen from Lumia in the past. We've heard that Nokia were updating their design language to better differentiate themselves and stay modern, and it looks like this may be one avenue they're exploring. The screen has a resolution of 1280 x 768 (the current maximum supported on Windows Phone 8) and will reportedly be a Super AMOLED display based on the PureMotion HD panel inside the current top dog Lumia 920. Beneath the screen there's an odd squarish Windows button, flanked with the standard search and buttons to the right and left, respectively. Inside th

Samsung Galaxy S4 Will Include Eye-Tracking

Image
As well as featuring an eight core CPU and other bleeding edge hardware, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S4 will include a number of new software innovations. Samsung differentiated themselves from the competition successfully with the Galaxy S3, and will no doubt be looking to accomplish the same goal here. The New York Times has reported that the new phone will include an upgrade to the ' Smart Stay ' technology introduced with last year's phone. That feature tracked your eyes using the front-facing camera, and ensured that the screen wouldn't switch off while you were looking at it. Now, it appears that Samsung have upgraded their eye-tracking technology with some new features for the Galaxy S4. According to the Times one of these new features is Smart Scroll , where "new paragraphs will automatically come into view when your eyes hit the end of a paragraph." Smart Scroll will work on the Samsung internet browser, Chrome, the Samsung email client and
