Guy Hacks Video Screens on Times Square

Image
This video was uploaded on Youtube by BitCrash44 . Here's how the guy describes his feat... "The way it works is pretty simple: plug in my transmitter into the iphone 4 and play back any video clip. You can play it through the ipod feature or through the camera roll. The transmitter instantly sends the video signal to the video repeater and the video repeater overrides any video screen that it's being held next to. It doesn't matter what shape or size the hacked screen is because the video will simply keep its correct dimensions and the rest of the hacked space will stay black. I chose times square for my demo because it has lots of video screens to try it on. It is also one of the most monitored and secured areas in New York City and that made it that much more fun :). You can see in my video that the repeater is pretty powerful but the signal is not very stable yet. I'm working on that. I will post a new video later this week explaining how i made this pro...

Spammer gets 30 year Prison Sentence

Image
Christopher William Smith, aka "Rizler" has been convicted of illegally selling drugs (Viagra) via the internet and now faces a mandatory 20-year prison sentence. He was a prolific e-mail spammer, and sold drugs online from his illegal Xpress Pharmacy Direct in Burnsville, Minnesota, United States. He earned $18 million and had an 85-employee company. He accumulated more than 17 cars and millions in assets before his 28th birthday. In addition, he violated court order by leaving the country and withdrawing frozen assets. After having his bail revoked, he then plotted to kill a witness, which was recorded by the jail phone system.  So that’s one less spammer to worry about but probably no less spam in your inbox tomorrow.
