So, here is the big question lingering in the minds of many people who are not quite popular online - How to get more likes on your Facebook posts? or How to get likes on facebook profile pic?

This question may seem childish to some of you, but others feel ignored and it may have a negative impact on their personality. It may be hard seeing your "empty" Facebook and seeing most of your friends' Facebook being infused with likes/comments.

You go online and post a very interesting photo/status and you barely get 5-10 likes.
But if a girl posts a crappy picture of herself smiling, and posted at least 50 exact same pictures she gets hundreds of likes. You must be one among the many people around the world who are baffled by this.

1] Good number of friends, original creativity, statuses with some sense of humor will make your friends click the like button when they read.

2] Tag you and a few of your friends in it so it comes up on news feed and there profiles.

3] Or you can create 10 to 15 fake accounts in facebook just to give you likes.. Ha ha , that's the only odd way to gain likes...

4] If you are just desperate for attention, you could post humorous statuses. Those get about 10-25. 

5] Post nice images of yourself.

  • Most people that get a lot of likes are either famous, funny, dramatic, or just plain desperate for attention 
  • People don't like a status because of how nice/cool the status is; but they like it because of who is posting the status. example: some guy might post a status and get 20 likes and another person might post a status and get 50 likes. popularity and other shallow factors like that normally come into account, but hey, that's life..
  • Facebook likes do not equal real life importance.
  • Try getting a time consuming hobby that involves interacting with people, away from Facebook. Then you'll be interacting with people regularly in an appropriately reciprocal fashion, and you'll probably care less about what the 480 people do on Facebook.
After implementing all the above tips, I'm sure you will get more likes on your facebook.
