Hardware Hacking: What is it?

Image
The hardware hacker , often called with a touch of romanticism "hacker" is in collective imagination, a pimply and sickly being who maintains an almost symbiotic relationship with his computer and leads onto the canvas a lawless existence. Although it is probably possible to find specimens that corroborate the stereotype, the world of hacking is complex, it has its own codes and contains within it a variety of trends and behaviors. However, what all hackers have in common is their love of tinkering and it is not limited to playing with lines of code. Unknown to the general public, hardware hacking is to divert it from its primary function of electronic equipment. The hardware is the physical electronic medium, which allows to operate the software. Practicing hardware hacking thus requires a screwdriver and soldering irons as much as a computer keyboard. Hacking laws may change thanks to Aaron Swartz

Aaron Swartz In recent years hacking has been a big part of the media for some time and have been a concern of internet users since their reported formation in 2003. Over time their popularity and following appears to have grown and although arrests have been made and individuals have been seen to be following the group’s activities and encouraging them to continue. I chose times square for my demo because it has lots of video screens to try it on. It is also one of the most monitored and secured areas in New York City and that made it that much more fun :). You can see in my video that the repeater is pretty powerful but the signal is not very stable yet. I'm working on that. I will post a new video later this week explaining how i made this pro
